Yeah... so:

Tzywei's always wanted to adopt a cat.

Me? Yeah... not so much :D I'd much rather a dog, but I don't want a small dog and we can't have a big one in our apartment. Finally, we got permission from the owner to get a cat and started sifting through all the cute kittens up for adoption on craigslist.

Last weekend we stopped by a shelter, then hit a farmers market - but didn't find a kitten that had a nice personality with the right colors. We thought we found another one, and were supposed to see it yesterday, but they were terrible at communicating and gave the cat away before we got there - that was a bummer.

However, late yesterday afternoon, Tzywei found another few kittens up for adoption from a lady who apparently works at a shelter and has a bunch of cats already. She couldn't keep these newbies and was looking for the right people to take them.

After driving all the way to Montebello, 20+ miles away, Tzywei, Isaac and I found the house and out came this mid-20's woman with a carrying case; inside were three 6-week-old kittens - two tiger striped ones and one all white one.

The tiger striped girl was handed to Tzywei, the male handed to me and the white kitten to Isaac, who held it away from himself, raised his top lip in disgust, curled his shoulders in and tried not to gag.

HA! I think, had he been handed one of the other two, he would have cuddled it and shown his semi-hidden feminine side, but being a resolution/color-scheme nazi, he was revolted by the thought of an all-white anything.

The next question was: so which one? Male, who is more calm? Or female, who is a little more of a loner and more rambunctious?

What about... both? Wait, who said that! BRAD said that??!

LOL. Yep. Don't ask me how that happened, but it did. Maybe I'll try to defend my image by saying that two cats can keep themselves company and leave me alone - or maybe I won't. :P

And so, nameless and (probably) batted around by 7 older brothers and sisters, Tzywei and I decided to adopt both of these little cuties:

Any ideas for names? We're on the hunt!
